Heidi Ormbrek, LMHCA

I believe true and deep healing takes place when we can share ourselves and our hearts openly and be fully witnessed and held without any judgement. I also believe that the therapeutic relationship is paramount to healing and provide a warm, empathic, person-centered approach to therapy, meeting you with deep compassion and respect wherever you are at on your life’s journey. Utilizing a mindfulness-oriented, holistic lens, we will address your well-being at the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. Together, we can work to increase your self-understanding and self-compassion and resolve unwanted patterns and limiting beliefs. Through the therapeutic process, I will help you access the depth and wisdom of your emotions and your body and reconnect with your authentic self and what is meaningful to you.
I am a licensed associate therapist in the state of Washington. I received my MA in Counseling at
Southwestern College in Santa Fe, NM. I have also received training in various specialized modalities including mindfulness-based techniques, ecotherapy, and somatic
therapies. I have worked a variety of different clients and I approach treatment in a trauma-informed manner.

I work with teens and adults throughout the lifespan, focusing on issues such as self-esteem and identity development, anxiety, depression, coping with substance use disorders, and navigating life transitions. Some of the modalities I use include person-centered/humanistic therapy, existential therapy, somatic therapy, and depth therapy including parts work. I encourage you to reach out to see if we might be a good fit!
